Valeria Brito

Vale was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She majored in Accounting, International Business, and Finance at Boston University. Prior to moving to Hanover, she worked at PwC, specializing in financial services consulting while also living in sunny Miami. While at and after Tuck, Vale expects to intern at a wellness startup and start her own venture. Outside of Tuck, Vale loves to dance, run, travel, do pilates, and try new restaurants.

 

Julia Carrellas

Julia was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island. She attended Brown University where she majored in Political Science and was also a member of the women’s lacrosse team. Prior to Tuck, Julia worked in consulting at McKinsey & Company before transitioning to a role in digital health at Massachusetts General Hospital. Outside of the student board, she is involved with the Healthcare Club, Technology Club, PE/VC Club and is a peer support counselor. She loves playing Tripod hockey and hiking the Upper Valley with her dog Rev.

 

Jennifer Chacon Salas

Jennifer was born and raised in a small town in Costa Rica. She is a first-generation student, who majored in Accounting at the University of Costa Rica. Before starting Tuck, she worked in internal consulting and compliance in different sectors. At Tuck, she was designated as a Forte Fellow, and outside of the student board, she joined the consulting club, the low-income and first-generation club (LIFT), and community consulting. Additionally, she continues to run her mentorship program in Costa Rica, helping other first-generation and low-income accounting students get their first job and navigate the Costa Rican Corporate world.

 

Gordon Cole

Gordon was born and raised in New Orleans, Lousiana, and Mardi Gras is still his favorite time of year. He attended Columbia University where he majored in Economics and Political Science and played on the rugby team. After undergrad, Gordon worked in Business Development for Intralox—the inventor and world’s largest manufacturer of modular plastic conveyor belts. He came to Tuck for the core and to explore other manufacturing companies. In addition to Student Board, Gordon enjoys watching and playing sports and connecting with the Tuck community, preferably over some Louisiana cooking. He is a member of the Adam Smith Society and the T’24 Band.

 

Sarah Kilpatrick

Sarah is from Mansfield, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018. After graduation, she taught English in France for a year, then worked in client service roles at Epic Systems and Bliss Point Media. Alongside being the Class of 2024 Club Chair, she is also involved in Community Consulting, Women in Business, Consulting Club, and the Wine Club.

 

Matthew Pei Kracklauer

Matt was born in Manhattan, NY. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2018, majoring in Business and minoring in Philosophy. Before Tuck, he worked in real estate finance in New York. Outside of school and work, Matt enjoys hunting with his dog, playing golf, and most importantly, Tripod Hockey.

 

Tom Lucy

Tom is from Orono, Maine. He graduated in 2019 from Bowdoin College, where he majored in Computer Science and Economics. Prior to Tuck, he worked as a lead software developer at IDEXX Laboratories. In addition to the student board, he is an active member of Tuck's Tech, Entrepreneurship, and Healthcare clubs, as well as the Center for Digital Strategies. In his free time, Tom enjoys all things outdoors, attending sporting events (especially football and basketball), reading history, and trying new restaurants.

 

Adhwaith Mani

Adhwaith was born in Chennai, India and spent his childhood there and in Berlin, Kuwait, and New Delhi. He moved to the US for college and attended Trinity University in San Antonio, TX where he majored in Engineering with minors in Business Administration, Mathematics, and Physics. Prior to Tuck, he worked in a couple of design engineering roles at Peterbilt in Denton, TX on products ranging from vocational trucks to an autonomous vehicle platform. Outside of the Student Board, Adhwaith is a Consortium member and fledgling Tripod Hockey goalie, and is involved in Tuck Community Consulting. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking in the Upper Valley, discovering new restaurants & breweries with his TP, and is looking forward to skiing for the first time.

 

Edmund Ong

Edmund is from Singapore. He spent his middle and high school years in Shanghai and Beijing. After serving 2 years in the Singapore Police Force, he went on to study Chemical Engineering at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada. Edmund then went on to work in consulting in Accenture’s Tech Strategy & Advisory group in Calgary Canada. Having lived in Western Canada for the past 9 years, Edmund enjoys his fair share of skiing and hiking, bookended with food, drink, and great company.

 

Fatima Patel

Fatima was born in Bolton, England, but has lived in Chicago, Illinois her whole life. Prior to Tuck, she studied accounting at DePaul University before spending three years working in corporate tax at EY. In addition to serving as the T’24 QLC, Fatima is an Admitted Students Weekend (ASW) co-chair as well as a Prospective Students co-chair for Tuck Women in Business (WIB). Outside of Tuck, Fatima enjoys cheering on Chicago sports teams, live music, traveling and hiking.

 

Ava Pavao

Ava was born outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to Tuck, she worked in paid social media strategy and execution for clients in the entertainment, cpg and travel industries. In addition to her role on the student board, Ava is an associate for the Tuck Center for Digital Strategies. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and enjoys teaching indoor cycling, spending time with friends and family, and consuming media in all formats.

 

Will Seex

Will grew up in Hong Kong, and spent his teenage years in London before reading Chemistry at Durham University. Prior to Tuck, he taught high school level chemistry in a boarding school, where he also coached swimming, water polo, rugby, and cricket. An enthusiastic but awful hockey player, Will can be found on the ice for Tripod, on the slopes, or otherwise working on his Fantasy Premier League team.

 

Varna Sharma T’24

Varna was raised in Raleigh, NC but also calls Charlottesville, VA home. She attended the University of Virginia where she got her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and was on a nationally competitive dance team. Varna also has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. Prior to Tuck, she worked as a process engineer at a series C biomaterials startup and looks to create positive impact in everything she does. Outside of student board, Varna is a CBGS Fellow, co-chair for Tuck Winter Carnival, Dance Club, and Tuck Sustains, and is an active member of SABA. She is also a professional henna artist and enjoys hiking and eating ice cream.

 

Alison Tilson

Alison was born and raised in New York City. She attended Carleton College for her undergraduate degree where she received a B.A. in Economics. Prior to Tuck, she worked in consulting at EY-Parthenon based in New York. Outside of Student Board, Alison is a Tuck Admissions Associate (TAA), a Non-Profit Board Fellow for the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS), and a 2023 ASW co-chair. She also enjoys taking advantage of everything the Upper Valley has to offer, including hiking, skiing, and playing Tripod Hockey. After Tuck, Alison will be returning to consulting at EY-Parthenon in New York.

Prior to Tuck, I worked in engineering in both the public and private sector. I have experience working with a wide range of people from several industries. My goal is to be a supportive resource to the student body during their recruiting process. I aim to be a liaison between Career Services and my classmates in order to enhance the professional development process for all students.

 

Apeksha Atal T’25

Apeksha was born in Portland, Oregon and grew up across both India and the US. She majored in Biology and English at Carnegie Mellon University, and shortly after graduating moved to Thailand to work as an English Teacher through the Fulbright Program. Prior to Tuck, Apeksha worked at a fintech startup in Bengaluru, India, with roles in Marketing, Strategy and HR. Along with Student Board, she is involved with TEMC, SABA, Tuck Pride, Women in Business, Consulting Club and Community Consulting. She is also a fellow for the Initiative for Workplace Inclusion, a Peer Support Counselor and a slowly improving tripod goalie. Outside of class, Apeksha loves watching movies at The Nugget, exploring restaurants in the area, and going for long walks with friends (even when it's freezing outside).

 

Shivya Bansal T’25

Born and raised in India, Shivya Bansal is a technology innovator and service-oriented leader with a background in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley. Following her passion for fusing art and technology, she joined the L'Oréal Technology Incubator, where, as a Product Manager, she launched the world's first smart makeup applicator for people with disabilities and other groundbreaking AI-based web services to bring more inclusivity to the world of beauty. Shivya is passionate about accessibility and served as a Team lead within L’Oreal USA’s DiversABILITY employee resource group, where she significantly increased membership and advocated for disability inclusion. Her expertise lies in augmented reality, AI, and design thinking, all underpinned by a commitment to creating technology that serves and empowers.

 

Jessica Demian T’25

Jessica is from Southern California and she graduated from the University of Redlands with a B.S. in International Business and Accounting. Before Tuck, she was a consultant in KPMGs Deal Advisory & Strategy practice. Aside from being the Class of 2025 Club Chair and being a member of many clubs herself, she is actively involved in Tripod as a goalie and low income first generation at Tuck. You can often find her chilling by the fireplace in Stell, on the ski slopes or hangout our in downtown Hanover at all the coffee shops!

Originally from California, Paige grew up in the Bay Area before heading to Southern California where she played D1 tennis for USC while majoring in Public Relations and Journalism. Following graduation, Paige moved to New York City where she worked in marketing and sales at three large tech firms. As Tuck social chair, Paige aims to bring her love of bringing community together and enthusiasm for creating lasting memories to cultivate experiences for the Tuck class.

Cristina was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where she majored in Business at Universidad del Pacífico. Before coming to Hanover, Cristina worked at Belcorp, a Latin-American beauty company as a Brand & Digital Marketing Manager. Besides her role as Treasurer, she is an Associate for the Center of Digital Strategies and she's involved in the Tech Club and the Latin American Business Association (LABA). Outside of Tuck, Cristina loves dancing, skiing, going to concerts, and basically anything that involves spending time with her friends and family.

 

Lachlan Macdonald T’25

I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. I studied accounting and finance at Stellenbosch University, after which I received my Chartered Accountancy qualification working in public accounting in Cape Town and London, as well as several years in finance and operations in technology start-ups.

Outside of student board I represented the Dartmouth water polo side winning the New England Championships and representing the College at the National Water Polo Club Championships. I am also an avid but awful Tripod player and super fan. When life slows down you can find me cold river plunging or fly fishing New England's pristine streams.

Ryann was born and raised in California, though she moved to Hanover from Washington DC, where she hopes to return post-MBA. Prior to Tuck, she spent five years in US healthcare. Most recently, Ryann was a program manager at a start-up in value-based primary care. Aside from Student Board, Ryann is involved with Community Consulting, Consortium, the Center for Health Care, and externally, the Flare Capital Scholars program in the venture capital space. In her free time, Ryann loves to read, lift weights, bake cookies, and spend time with her partner and family.

Joanna is a native of New York's Hudson Valley and has a soft spot for Chicago after calling it home for five years pre-Tuck. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2016, where she majored in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the women's varsity rowing team. Joanna worked in supply chain operations for seven years at GE Transportation and Wabtec Corporation. She enjoys endurance sports, especially running & biking, and is having a lot of fun learning to ski this year with the help of many patient friends.

 

Alison Nordell T’25

Alison graduated from Yale University in 2018 where she majored in American Studies and rowed on the Yale Women's Crew Team. After college, she worked in brand strategy consulting at Kantar for four years, first in NYC and then Boston, driving growth initiatives for global Fortune 100 companies across a range of industries. She came to Tuck to pivot into PE/VC, applying her growth mindset and brand strategy expertise to help small- to mid-size portfolio companies operate through critical periods of transition.

In addition to her role in student government, Alison is involved with the Centers for Entrepreneurship and PE/VC, the Tuck Business Bridge program and the Next50 initiative, and hopes to support the NextStep program and TuckMentors for undergraduates. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys exploring the Upper Valley's outdoor activities, including hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and alpine and nordic skiing.

 

Azael Paz T’25

Azael was born in Mexico but raised in Los Angeles, CA. He is a first-generation student who graduated from Cornell University in 2017 with a degree in Biological Sciences. Prior to Tuck, Azael focused his career in the healthcare space between a startup and nonprofits, working primarily in project and client management roles. As a complete winter sport novice, outside of student board he is eagerly learning to ski and skate. He is also a Consortium member, Center for Health Care Fellow, involved with the Hispanic-American Student Association (HASA), and enthusiastically looking for the best local food and drink spots.

Aisha was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University where she majored in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a minor in Bioethics. Before Tuck, Aisha worked in the nonprofit fiscal sponsorship field as an HR and Operations leader. At Tuck, she is a Forte and Consortium fellow. Outside of student board Aisha is involved with the Black and Hispanic student associations, PRIDE, Games Club, and Net Impact. She enjoys baking, trivia, kayaking, and dancing.

Kenlynn was born and raised in Singapore. She attended National University of Singapore where she majored in Accounting and Finance, and was also a member of the Thai Boxing team. Prior to Tuck, Kenlynn worked in digital analytics and sales at adidas before transitioning to a role in Dyson. Outside of the student board, she is involved with the Consulting Club, Asian Business Club and LIFT. She loves running outside and spending time with her friends in the Upper Valley.
