The Rowing Club at Tuck strives to provide an opportunity for Tuck students to row and will work to promote the sport of rowing within the Tuck community.
Specifically, the Rowing Club aims to:
- Provide opportunities for training and camaraderie
- Introduce novices to crew and provide them the opportunity to learn to row or become a coxswain
- Provide a competitive environment for experienced rowers and coxswains
- Provide a social outlet for rowing enthusiasts
The Rowing Club organizes weekend rows on the picturesque Connecticut River, a stone's throw from the Tuck capmus. For those new to the sport or looking to maintain a connection to the water through the winter, the club hosts sessions in Dartmouth's indoor rowing tanks at Alumni Gym.
